Tea Talk with Sanne from Road To Rainbow

When and HOW in your busy schedule do you find time for yourself?

As a mom of an active toddler, it is hard to find time for myself. Now that I am off work temporarily due to COVID-19, I have a bit more time on my hands. I usually plan my “me-time” during my sons nap time or when his dad is home I’ll have a bit more flexibility.

Of course, those times are also for cleaning, and organizing, and prepping dinner, etc. I usually take my “me-time” right after I put my son down as it gives me some time to breathe and get in the mindset to get things done around the house.

How do you enjoy drinking tea? On the go? Or at home? At work?

All of the above! Haha, I will have a cup around lunchtime and in the evening while watching my favourite shows. When I was working, I would I always make sure I have some packed in my lunch bag  as well. I would bring my morning coffee and then I would make myself tea on my lunch break!

Do you have any self-care routines or relaxing routines?

I do not really have specific routines, but as a busy mom my self care consists of taking the time to work out, or having a relaxing shower or bath during the day. In the evenings, after I have cleaned up, I watch my shows or read a book.

How do you make your tea time experience more relaxing?

I snuggle up on the couch or in bed, or when the weather is nicer, I sit outside in the sun or will lay in the hammock. And taking a bath during tea time is ALWAYS a good idea of course!
