Five fun ways to celebrate Valentine’s Day with friends

Host a movie night

Bake some cookies and brew your favourite tea. Then curl up on the couch under a cozy blanket for a night in with a couple of movies from a past decade, be it 70s, 80s or 90s.

Plan a hike

Pack a light lunch and thermos of tea, then head out for the morning or afternoon with one or more friends on a trail you’ve always wanted to hike along and take in the gorgeous scenery.

Game night!

Get together with a friend, brew a pot tea and bring a card or board game to the table. Games are a fun way to add an activity into a social setting. And there are multitude of fun games for two players whether it’s classic like backgammon or gin rummy, or one of the many great new board games for two players you can easily find at a game shop or online. Give back to your community

Spread the love with those in need. Find a local charity, church or community centre to see if how you can get involved. Bring a friend to bond with and make new friends at the same time. You can even turn it into annual tradition.
