Final word

When I feel a cold coming on, I usually brew myself a pot of hot water and make my own lemon-ginger tea from ingredients in the kitchen. But I had a box of Cold B’gone in the house and decided to give it a try a few days ago when felt the first signs of a cold coming on.

It works as promised. I definitely felt the soothing effects of the tea. What surprised me most was how, as the tea cools, it begins to take on a sweetness I wasn’t expecting. It’s almost similar to adding honey to hot water and lemon, but not quite. This is subtler and in many ways better. It’s probably the apple coming through in the end. Quite nice.
